Often when re-installing QuickBooks, you need access to your version which may be a version previous to the current version.
To download older versions, visit:
https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products
Select your Country, and version, and you will be redirected to a download page, similar to this one, which is the Canadian, Desktop Pro, 2017 edition.
